[Abstract]
ABSTRACT
In ecological studies in the Westem and Far East countries, spiders were found as important predators of insects in agroecosystems. In faunistic works performed in fields such as all alfa, wheat, corn, rice and cotton, The lycosid and linyphiid spiders were found as the most encounlered predalors among the arthropods. Prey of these predators of agricultural ecosystems are mainly soft bodied insects such as Collemboia, Heteroptera, Homoptera and Diptera. Recently, intensive invesligations have been done on preypredator relation between spiders and insects, and on role of spiders in conservation of the ecological balance. In addition, some other studies have showed that the pesticides applicd in agricultural fields caused important casualties in spider populations.

ABSTRACT
The Hazar Lake, that is Southeast 22 km. of Elazığ city, has an important tourism potential. In this study; the physical, chemical and bacteriological analysis which were made by DSİ for 4 years by evident periods for Hazar Lake were dealt with in detail for water pollution. The continental water sources were classified according to quality criteriors of lake water had the characteristics of I. and II. category waters. But it was determined that control limit values of eutrophication were exceeded. in addition precautions were offered for preventing lake pollution.

ABSTRACT
Turkey is one of the countries in the world that its soils ares exposed to heavy erison and it has a high main land with a rough surface. As a result of improper and unplanned usage of the land for centuries our forests have been exposed to great damages. Some of them have been copletely eradicated and some others have lost their fertility. The areas where eroison has to be fought aganist in places which are under the regime of forestry calculated to be 2.850.000 hectars. Forestration is not matter that only the goverment can handle. Private establisments, t'oundations, and cfubs should also join the forestration activities together with people who deal in forestry. During plantation, technics and trees that are suitable to the concerning area should be used.

ABSTRACT
in this study, coliform group bacteria were isolated and identified from 20 samples of the freshly formed white cheese which are sold in Bursa. Different biochemical and IMVIC tests are used for identification of isolaîed cultures. Total 264 coliform strain whîch have been in the freshly formed white cheese, consisted of 72 Eschericiua coli Typ I, 34 Escherichia coli Typ 1, 57 Enterobacter aerogenes, 37 Enterobacter doacae, 31 Citrobacter, 10 Klebsieilla aerogenes and 8 Kiebsiella pneumonia. From the samples of cheese isolated 15 strains couldn't be identified.

ABSTRACT
In this study, commercial fertilizers, natural zeolit and zeolites saturated with fertilizer are treated on the seeds of Triticum sativum and Cucumis sativus. Effects on seed germinations and plant growth of these substances were studied. As a result of this study; it was found out that zeolit could be used as a nitrat carrier in the preparation of fertilizer and that amonium could be assesed by plants more effectively and that more manure could be saved.

ABSTRACT
Lignin is responsible for the storage of nearly 40% of solar energy bound in wood. Rising oil prices, the high energy intensity in the production of synthetic polymers, and negative effect of fossil based substances on the environment favour future use of lignin or its derivatives in materials applications rather than in energy production. it is feasible to use modified or unmodified lignin as phenol or polyol replacement in thermosetting resins and in the reinforcement of elastomers and so on.
