ABSTRACT
Signifıcance of the environmental problem is better understood in the world and Türkiye since 1970's. Environmental engineering education programs started in 1978 in istanbul Technical University.
(ITÜl Middle East Technical University (ODTÜ) and 9 Eylül University and now, 21 universities offer environmental engineering education in Türkiye, in addition 5 universities offer this program as second any education. Lectures and academic staff the 21 universities are compared in this study.

ABSTRACT
Phytoplankton and zooplankton are minör components of aquatic ecosystems. The succession of phytoplankton populations are controlled by zooplankton grazing. However, zooplanktors prefer different foods at different stages in its life cycle. in general, certain phytoplankton are consumed by certain zooplankton groups. Because of consumption of phytoplankton by zooplankton there is an inverse proportionality in the zooplankton and phytoplankton populations of a given aquatic environment.

ABSTRACT
in this study, the ecology of seed germination of Pinus nigra ssp. pallasiana var. şeneriana, that is an endemic plant in Türkiye, has been investigated, After the seed germination studies, it was determined that germination rate and ability of the darker seeds was 68.9 % and 93.7 % respectively. On the other hand those of the lighter seeds was 9.3 % and 12.5 % respectively. The darker seeds showed better germination ability, faster germination and shorter germination time than the lighter ones.
